Samrat Engineering Works

We’re over in Industrial Area-C in Ludhiana, specifically on Sua Road. If you look for Ravi Kanda, we are right behind it. Being in an industrial area means there is always a lot of noise—trucks moving, machines clanking, and people shouting over the din. Samrat Engineering Works is a gritty place. We’ve got metal shavings on the floor and oil stains on our clothes most days. That’s just the nature of engineering work. We have a few lathes and some old milling machines that have been with us for a long time. They still work fine if you know how to handle them. We don’t have a website or a marketing person. Most of our work comes from the factories nearby that need repairs or custom parts made. We take pride in just getting the job done without making a big fuss about it. The office is just a corner of the shop partitioned off with some plywood. It’s dusty and full of blueprints. We spend most of our time out on the floor anyway. It’s a tough environment, especially in the peak of summer when the metal gets hot to the touch. But we’ve been doing this for years and we’re used to it. We keep the doors open and just keep working through whatever comes our way. There’s always something to fix or build, so we stay busy from Monday to Saturday.
