Sagar Light & Tent

Sagar Light & Tent is located on Street Number 1 in Upkar Nagar. If you know Ludhiana, you probably know the New Puli area, which is right by us. We have been in this spot for years. The street is a bit narrow, so when we load the big poles for the tents, we have to be careful about the traffic. It is a lot of physical work, honestly. We spend our mornings checking the fabric for holes and making sure the decorative lights still turn on. Ludhiana weather can be tough on the tents, especially during the monsoon or when the wind picks up. Our shop is mostly a storage space for all the pipes, cloths, and bulbs. People from Upkar Nagar come by when they have a function at home or in the street. We don't have a receptionist or anything; you usually just find us working out front or talking to the laborers. Sometimes we sit on the plastic chairs outside and watch the neighborhood kids play. It is a simple life here. We just provide the setup for people's events.
