You can find us up on the third floor of R-50 in Khirki Extension. It’s Malviya Nagar, so it’s always crowded and there’s always something going on in the streets below. We’ve been doing decoration work for a good while now. It’s a lot of physical labor, carrying things up and down those Delhi stairs. We handle tents, flowers, lighting, and all the bits and pieces that make a space look different for a day or two. It’s not a glamorous job, despite what people think about decorating. It’s about being there early in the morning and staying late at night. We’ve got a lot of stuff stored away—fabrics, poles, decorative items. It can get a bit messy in the office with all the samples lying around. We don’t have a slick website with fancy music. We just have our work and the people who know us. If someone needs a place fixed up for a small gathering or a local event, they come to us. We’re used to the chaos of New Delhi and how to navigate the narrow lanes of Khirki. We just focus on getting the setup done on time. There’s no big secret to it, just a lot of coordination and making sure we don’t forget the small things. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here, and we treat our workers and our customers like neighbors because, mostly, they are.
