Sadhu Engineering Works

If you come down to 235, Industrial Area-A, you will find our workshop. Sadhu Engineering Works has been sitting in this spot for a good while. It is a noisy place because the machines are usually running from morning till the evening. There is a lot of metal lying around, some of it raw and some of it finished parts waiting to be picked up. We have a few lathes and some other heavy equipment that takes up most of the floor space. The floor is usually a bit greasy from the oil we use to keep things moving smoothly, so you have to watch your step. Our team is small, mostly guys who have been working with metal for years. We wear old clothes because they just get stained anyway. The roof is high and it gets quite hot in the summer months, but we have some fans that help a little bit. We don't have a fancy office; it’s just a small desk in the corner with a lot of old invoices and a telephone that rings quite a bit. People from the nearby shops often drop by to chat or ask for a quick fix on something. It’s a practical environment where we just focus on the job at hand and try to stay on top of the orders coming in. We keep our tools sorted as best as we can, but it gets messy.
