Rotella International

Our place is located at 639 in Industrial Area-B. It is a busy street and finding a parking spot can be a real headache some mornings, especially when the big lorries are trying to back in to the narrow spaces. We’ve been running Rotella International from this building for a good while now. It's mostly just warehouse space and a small area where we handle the paperwork. You won't find any glossy brochures or sales people in suits here. We usually have the shutters half-down to keep the heat out during the summer months. The neighbors are mostly other workshops and small factories, so there is always a lot of clanging and banging going on next door. We keep our heads down and focus on what needs to be packed and shipped for the day. Sometimes the mail is late or the internet acts up, but we manage to get things sorted out eventually. It's a lot of manual work, moving boxes and checking labels by hand. We like the grit of Industrial Area-B because it feels like a place where things actually get built. Most of our days are spent checking inventory or talking to the drivers who come through. It is not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We’ve grown used to the smell of grease and the sound of the nearby freight trains. It’s just a normal day for us at number 639.
