Akansha International

Akansha International is located at No. 82 in Model Gram, right near the Kochar Market Chowk. If you know that area, you know it is always busy. There are people everywhere, bikes parked in every available gap, and the sound of the market is just part of the background. Our building is right in the middle of all that energy. We have been here for a while and the location is quite handy for people to drop in. Inside, things are a bit more quiet, though you can still hear the horns honking outside. We deal with various international bits and pieces, so there is always a box being moved or a list being checked. The stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful when two people are trying to pass each other. We don't have any big corporate banners or anything. It is more of a family-run feeling place where everyone knows everyone else’s name. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep going. Sometimes the internet acts up because of the old wiring in the neighborhood, but we manage. It is a bit cramped at times with all the inventory, but it feels lived-in and productive. Living and working near Kochar Market means there is never a dull moment. We just go about our business and try to keep things moving. It isn't fancy, but it is where we work and we are happy enough with the setup we have.
