Ricoh Battery Industries

Our setup is over in Industrial Area A, specifically at 2791/2. Being in an industrial zone means we are surrounded by factories and workshops of all kinds. At Ricoh Battery Industries, we focus on the heavy work of putting batteries together. It is a noisy place with the sounds of machines and the occasional forklift moving pallets around the yard. The walls are a bit stained from the materials we use, and the floor is hard concrete that has seen better days. We have a small crew that works in shifts to keep things moving. The smell of lead and acid is pretty common around here, though we try to keep the ventilation going as much as we can. It gets very hot in the summer, especially with the machinery running all day. Most of our days are spent checking the assembly lines or loading up the delivery trucks that come in the afternoon. Industrial Area A is a maze of streets, and we are just one part of the bigger picture of production in this city. We don't have a showroom or anything like that because we are more of a working plant than a retail shop. People who come here are usually looking for bulk orders or picking up supplies for their own businesses. It is a grit-and-grind kind of job, and we just keep our heads down and get through the daily production targets.
