We are located at Plot No 769 on Street No 4 in Dashmesh Nagar. It’s right off Gill Road, which is always full of traffic and noise. Rattan Power Press is a place where you’ll find a lot of heavy metal and loud noises. That’s the way it is when you’re building power presses. We’ve been in this spot for years, and the neighborhood has grown up all around us. You can usually find the guys working hard near the front, and the air is always thick with the smell of metalwork. We don’t bother with much of the corporate side of things. We just want to build machines that don't break down the first time someone uses them. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we have to redo things until they’re right. We don’t have any polished slogans or anything like that. We just talk to our customers like regular people. Gill Road can be a mess in the evenings, but it’s home for us. We’ve got a lot of history in these walls, with all the grease and the scratches on the floor to prove it. Every day is pretty much the same: we come in, we work, we have some tea, and we go home. It’s a steady life and we’re happy to be part of the Ludhiana industrial scene. It’s a gritty job, but someone has to do it, and we enjoy the work.
