New United Engg. Works

New United Engg. Works has been located on G.T. Road in Miller Ganj for quite a long time. Being on G.T. Road means it’s always busy outside with trucks and traffic, but inside the shop, we just focus on the metalwork. We do a lot of traditional engineering. It’s the kind of place where there’s always a bit of iron dust on the floor and the sound of hammers or grinding wheels in the background. We don’t have a fancy showroom. What you see is exactly what we are—a working machine shop. We handle a lot of repairs and custom fabrication. People bring in broken parts from tractors or factory machines, and we see if we can fix them or make a new one from scratch. It’s practical work. We don’t spend much time on aesthetics; we care more about whether the part works and if it’s going to last. The guys here have been working together for a long time, so they don’t need much direction. They just know what needs to be done. We keep our tools sharp and our machines oiled.
