Rajiv Engineering Works

The shop is over in Miller Ganj on Nirankari Lane No.3. If you know where Metro Tyres is, we are right across from them. Rajiv Engineering Works has been at this spot for quite some time now. It’s a busy part of the city and the lane gets pretty crowded with trucks and bikes moving around all day. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of machines and the smell of grease. We do a lot of metal fabrication and repair work here. My father started things off with just one old lathe, and we’ve added a few more bits of equipment as the years went by. It’s not a clean or fancy place, just a workspace where we get our hands dirty every day. We spend most of our time fixing parts for local factories or helping someone who needs a specific piece of metal cut or welded. Sometimes the heat in the workshop gets to be a bit much in the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and get on with the job. The locals around here usually stop by to chat while we work because we've been in the same lane for so long. We don't really have a big office or anything, just a small desk where we keep the bills and a few chairs that have seen better days. It’s a simple way to make a living, but it keeps us busy from morning until late evening most days of the week.
