If you are driving down G. T. Road Bye Pass near the Indian Oil Complex, you might spot our place. We are right there in the Guru Gobind Singh Avenue area, which is a busy stretch with lots of trucks and dust. Our workshop is an active place where we handle different engineering tasks. It gets loud with the machines running, but that is just the sound of work being done. We have been here for a long time and have seen the area change around us. The Indian Oil Complex is a good landmark because people always get lost looking for these industrial plots. We keep a lot of iron and spare parts around the yard. It is not the cleanest place, but we know where everything is kept. Most of our days are spent fixing things or fabricating parts that customers bring in. The weather here can be tough, either too hot or freezing, but the work doesn't stop. We usually have tea together in the morning before the heavy work starts. It’s a straightforward life here. We don't use big words or have fancy meetings. We just look at the blueprints, pick up the tools, and get to it. Sometimes the power cuts off and we have to wait a bit, but we always find a way to catch up. It’s a real, grit-and-grime kind of job for our small crew and we take it day by day.
