Preet Engineers India

Our place, Preet Engineers India, is at 11909/4A in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. We are right by the Pmt Bus Stop near Katraj Chowk, so it’s never really quiet here. You can hear the buses pulling in and out and people shouting for rides all day long. It gets dusty because of all the traffic, so we’re always wiping down the machines. We do a lot of engineering work, mostly small parts and custom jobs that people bring in. The workshop is a bit cramped and we have to step over cables and metal scraps to get around. We’ve got a few old fans that just move the hot air around during the summer months. It’s a rough environment but we’ve been at this spot for a while. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. People just see the sign when they're waiting for the bus and wander in. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and measuring things twice. If a machine breaks down, we spend the night fixing it ourselves because we can't afford to lose a day. It’s just the reality of running a small engineering shop. We close up once the streetlights come on and the bus stop gets a bit quieter. It’s a long day, every day, but we are used to the noise and the hard work now at this location.
