Pankaj Goyal

My name is Pankaj Goyal. You can find me over at Miller Ganj, inside the Panesar Market. It is a very busy place with lots of shops and noise. I have been working here for quite a while now. The market is always full of people moving stuff around. My spot isn't very large, but it serves the purpose. I have a few shelves and a table where I sit. It gets quite dusty because of all the trucks passing by outside. I don't have a big team or anything. It's usually just me and one helper. We deal with whatever comes in that day. It's a lot of manual work sometimes. People come in looking for things, and I try to find them in the back. The lighting isn't the best, but I know where everything is. I like being in the market because you see everyone. There is always someone to talk to or share a quick snack with. I've known the other shopkeepers for years. We help each other out when things get busy. I don't use any fancy systems. I keep my records in a big notebook. It feels more real that way. It's a simple life, and I am used to the routine here. I open up the shutters every morning and start by cleaning the desk. It is a long day but it is my own work.
