P S Electronics

Being in Ludhiana, we at P S Electronics see all kinds of people coming in with broken things. Our shop is a bit of a mess with wires and circuit boards scattered all over the workbenches. We have shelves filled with old television parts and remote controls that we’ve collected over the years. The smell of burning solder is something you just get used to after a while. Most of my day is spent hunched over a magnifying glass trying to find a tiny break in a wire. We don’t have a big showroom with new gadgets, just a small space where we fix what people bring us. The lighting isn't the best, so we use these desk lamps that get really hot. Sometimes customers bring in stuff that’s so old we can’t even find the parts for it anymore. We have an old fridge in the back where we keep our lunch, and it makes a loud humming noise. There's dust on the top shelves because we can't reach them without a ladder. We don't wear uniforms or anything like that, just our regular clothes. It’s a quiet shop most of the time unless someone is testing a speaker. We’ve been here in Ludhiana for a long time and the locals know we’re the place to go when their electronics start acting up. We just keep our heads down and do the work as it comes in daily.
