N. S. Mechanical Works

You can find N. S. Mechanical Works right on G.T. Road in Miller Ganj. This part of town is famous for mechanical work, so we fit right in. The road is always loud with traffic and the sound of machines from the other shops. We have been here for years, and the building shows its age a bit, but it’s sturdy. We do mostly mechanical repairs and part fabrication. It’s the kind of place where there is always metal shavings on the floor and the smell of cutting oil in the air. We don't have a fancy front desk. If you need something, you just walk in and talk to whoever is free. We’ve seen a lot of changes in Miller Ganj over the decades, but the work we do hasn't changed all that much. It still takes a good eye and a steady hand to get things right. We have some old machines that still work better than the new ones for certain jobs. The staff here are more like family than employees. We take our time to make sure things are done right, even if we aren't the fastest shop on the block. People come to us when they have a problem they can't solve themselves. It’s just a plain, honest machine shop on the side of a busy road. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the old days when G.T. Road was a bit quieter. It's just how we get through the day.
