Manmeet

Our place, Manmeet, is located right near Orient Cinema in Ludhiana. This cinema is a big landmark, so most people find us without any trouble. We have been in this location for a good number of years now. The space we have isn't particularly large, but it works fine for the coaching and tuition we do. Because we are near the cinema, there is always some noise and activity outside, but once you are inside, it is mostly just the sound of students working. We don't have a large staff or many employees. It is a small, family-run kind of business. We take in kids from the schools nearby. The desks and chairs are a bit old and have some scratches, but they are solid and get the job done. We don't care much for fancy decorations. We just want a simple place where students can sit down and focus on their books. Most of our work happens in the evenings when the batches are full. It gets a bit busy then. We know the local shop owners and the people who work around the Orient Cinema area. It is a very central part of Ludhiana. We don't have a big mission statement or any corporate goals. We just help kids with the subjects they find hard. Some days are long, but we just keep going. It is a straightforward way of life for us. We like working in this part of the city.
