M P Electronics

In Model Town, near Harnam Nagar, you’ll find our shop, M P Electronics, at number 1138. It’s a small place but we pack a lot into it. We carry a bit of everything when it comes to home electronics and small appliances. I’ve been working here for years and I know most of the people who walk through the door by their first name. The shop can get a bit disorganized because new stock arrives before we’ve sold the old stuff. I spend a lot of time explaining how a remote works or why a certain wire is better than another. The floor is made of old tiles that are starting to crack in the corners, but nobody seems to mind. We have a small fan that keeps the air moving, though it makes a bit of a clicking sound that I really should fix one day. Model Town is a nice area, so we get a lot of families coming in on their way to the market. It’s not the biggest store in the world, but we try to keep what people actually need in stock. I usually close up around eight and head home, ready to do it all again the next morning. It’s a simple routine, and while it’s not always exciting, it’s our life here in this little corner of the city. We just try to stay busy and keep the shelves full of whatever is popular.
