Kudu Knit Process Pvt Ltd is located right opposite Sunrise School in Jamalpur, Ludhiana. It’s House No. 11, which sounds like a regular home, but we do a lot of work inside. Ludhiana is known for its textiles, and we are right in the thick of it. We spend most of our time dealing with fabrics, knitting machines, and all the processes that go into making clothes. The hum of the machines is something you just get used to after a while. Sometimes it’s so loud you have to shout to be heard. We see a lot of people from the neighborhood walking past on their way to the school. It’s a busy little area. We handle everything from the raw yarn to the finished pieces. The floors are usually covered in bits of thread and lint, no matter how much we sweep. It’s just the nature of the business. We don't have a big corporate team; it's mostly just local folks who know how to handle the equipment. We've had some long days when a big order comes in, but we just put our heads down and get it done. The traffic around Jamalpur can be a nightmare during school hours, so we try to time our deliveries around that. It’s just a regular, hard-working shop doing its part in the city’s textile trade. We’ve seen the industry change over the years, but the basic work of knitting doesn't really shift that much. We just keep the thread moving and the machines oiled.
