J.K Industries

We are tucked away in the Industrial Area, and to be honest, it looks like every other workshop around here. J.K Industries is the name on the door, though the paint has seen better days. Inside, it’s all business. We have the heavy machinery lined up, and there is usually a layer of fine dust over everything by noon. It isn't the kind of place you come to see a showroom. It’s a place where work actually happens. We deal with whatever orders come in, mostly metalwork and parts for other businesses. The rhythm of the machines becomes like background music after you’ve been here long enough. My father started this, and I just sort of kept it going. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. If people need something made, they usually just show up or give us a call based on someone else’s recommendation. The Industrial Area can be a bit grim during the monsoon when the roads get muddy, but we never miss a day. We have a small crew, and everyone knows their station. It’s not about being the biggest company; it’s about getting the orders out the door so we can start on the next batch tomorrow. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the machines. That is pretty much the whole story of J.K Industries. We are just here doing the work, day in and day out, without any fuss.
