Jeet Boutique

We’ve been at 261/8 Brahampuri for quite some time now. Ludhiana is a busy place, and being near the Gurdwara Gur Sagar makes it easy for folks to find us when they need something made or fixed. The shop is small but we keep busy with all kinds of sewing work. It gets noisy outside with the traffic from the Ramtekadi Industrial Town Planning area, but inside it's just the sound of machines. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when there's a wedding or a festival coming up and everyone needs their clothes ready. We try to keep up with what people want. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you usually see the same faces every time you walk in. We don't have a fancy sign or anything, just the work we do. People come in from all over the neighborhood, sometimes just to chat while they wait for a fitting. It’s a bit cramped with all the fabric rolls and threads lying around, but we know where everything is. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait a bit, but that's just how it is here. We focus on getting the stitching right and making sure the fit is okay. If you’re heading towards the Gurdwara, you’ll probably pass right by us. It’s a simple shop, nothing too special to look at from the street, but we’ve been here long enough that most people know the name Jeet Boutique by now. We don't do any advertising because word of mouth keeps us busy.
