Apollo Beauty & Boutique Mtril Stre is my small business located on 22 Ft Rd in Haibowal Kalan, Ludhiana. It’s a bit different from your average grocery store because we focus more on beauty products and materials for boutiques. If you’re looking for specific kinds of thread, buttons, or lace, this is the kind of place you’d wander into. Ludhiana is known for its textiles, so there’s always someone working on a new outfit nearby. The shop is filled with small drawers and boxes packed with all sorts of sewing supplies. I also keep a selection of basic beauty items that the local ladies often ask for. The space is a bit cluttered because there are just so many small items to keep track of, but I usually know exactly which box holds the right shade of ribbon. The 22 Ft Rd can get quite congested, but it brings a lot of foot traffic past our door. Most of my day is spent helping people match colors or finding the right type of needle for their machines. It’s a quiet kind of work, but it requires a lot of patience. Sometimes I’ll have someone come in with a scrap of fabric, and we’ll spend twenty minutes looking for the perfect match.
