Iceland India

Iceland India is situated on Link Road, which is one of the busiest streets around here. We have been in this spot for quite some time now. The building is an old one with thick walls, which actually helps keep the place a bit cooler than the street outside. We deal with various cooling things and ice-related supplies. Inside, the shop is very plain with some old metal cabinets and a few desks that have seen better days. There is no air conditioning in the office part, just a couple of wall fans that hum loudly all day. Link Road is always crowded with traffic, and it can be hard for our delivery vans to find a spot to park right in front. I usually arrive early in the morning to get things organized before the heat of the day starts. We have a small crew of guys who handle the heavy lifting and the deliveries. Most of our customers are other local businesses who need to keep their stuff cold. I spend a lot of my time on the phone or writing in a ledger to keep track of everything. It’s a lot of routine work, checking temperatures and making sure the machines are running right. We don't have any fancy posters or decorations on the walls. It’s just a practical place for a practical business. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we just keep doing what we do.
