Being in an industrial area means there’s always a lot of dust and noise from the trucks passing by. Our shop is where we handle all types of weighing machines. Some are small enough to fit in your hand, while others take two people to lift. We spend our time checking calibrations and making sure the numbers stay accurate. It’s precise work, even if the building itself looks a bit old. The walls are painted a dull grey, and we’ve got metal racks everywhere. We don’t put on a show for anyone. If you come in, you’ll likely see one of us with a toolkit or looking closely at a circuit board. The industrial layout is a busy place, so we usually have our lunch at our desks. We’ve been here for a good while now. The humidity sometimes messes with the equipment, so we have to keep an eye on that. We don't use fancy slogans. People know where we are if they need something weighed or if their scale starts acting up. It's a straightforward business. We show up, deal with the scales, and make sure everything is sorted for the next morning. It’s not glamorous, but it keeps the lights on. We hope to stay here for many more years.
