Our place is in the Model Town Extension area, specifically at the market there in Sco 25. If you spend any time in the Model Town Extension Market, you probably know the layout. It’s one of those spots where you can find almost anything you need if you look long enough. We’ve been set up in this unit for a bit, and it’s become our second home in many ways. The morning starts with opening the shutters and maybe saying hello to the neighbors. It’s a typical market atmosphere, a bit noisy at times but that’s the energy of the place. We have some chairs and desks inside, nothing too elaborate, just what is needed for the day’s tasks. Most days are pretty busy with people coming in and out. We don’t really do the whole corporate image thing; we just talk to folks like normal neighbors. The market has its own rhythm, and we are just one part of it. Sometimes it gets a little crowded on the weekends, but during the week, it’s a steady flow. We keep our schedules taped to the wall and try to stay on top of things. It’s a practical setup. Nothing here is for show, it is all just to make sure the work gets done and everyone knows where they are supposed to be. We just like to keep it simple and keep moving forward with the work we have to do.
