Heights International

Heights International is over in Gheekanta, right at number 2384. We have strong roots in Ludhiana, which is where a lot of our background comes from. The office here is pretty basic. We focus on the international side of things, mostly dealing with shipments and logistics. It’s not a very glamorous job. We spend a lot of time on the computer or checking manifests. The area around Gheekanta is always moving, so there’s a lot of energy outside our door. We’ve been in this building for quite some time. It’s an old place, but it serves our needs just fine. We have a few storage rooms and a main area where we do all the talking. Sometimes things get complicated with shipping schedules, but we just take it one day at a time. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to do our part and keep the business running smoothly. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, especially when we’re dealing with different time zones. We don’t have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just come in, do the work, and go home. That’s how we’ve always done it. It’s a simple life but it keeps us busy and the bills are paid. We don't really have time for anything more complicated than that.
