Hammerman Engineering Works

Our shop is at C-180 in the Industrial Focal Point. It’s an area full of other workshops and small factories, so there's always noise from someone cutting or welding something nearby. Hammerman Engineering Works has been sitting on this lot for a good bit of time. The floor is concrete and usually has some grease on it. We do a lot of heavy work here. You’ll see hammers, obviously, and a lot of other tools hanging on the walls or thrown in boxes. It’s not a quiet place. When the machines are running, you have to shout a bit to be heard. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most people find us because they know we're in the Focal Point. The roof is high but it still gets hot in the summer. We have a small office corner with a fan that clicks, where we keep all the records. We focus on the metal in front of us. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. It’s just how it goes in an industrial area. We make things, we fix things, and we go home. No big corporate meetings here. Just honest work with our hands and some old-fashioned tools. It gets dirty and loud, but that is how engineering goes. We keep it simple and just do what is needed every single day.
