H. S. Engineering Works

We've been here on Street No. 9 for a while now. H. S. Engineering Works is mostly just us handling various metal jobs and repair work that comes our way. It gets loud in here, but that’s just how it is when you're working with tools all day. People usually find us when they need something specific made or fixed that they can't just buy at a store. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It's just a workshop where we get things done. Some days are busier than others, especially when a big order comes in from one of the nearby factories. We try to keep things organized, but there's always a bit of grease and metal shavings around. That’s just part of the job. Most of the guys here have been doing this for years, so we know our way around the lathes and welding machines. We don't spend much time on the computer or making things look pretty on paper. We'd rather be out back working on a piece of steel. If you walk down the street, you'll probably hear us before you see us. It’s a solid place, nothing too complicated. We just show up, do the work, and head home. Partap Nagar is a busy area, and we fit right in with all the other shops around here. It's a living, and we're glad to be part of the neighborhood. We hope to stay here for many years.
