Guru Sahai Kalsi Machinery Works

The workshop at Guru Sahai Kalsi Machinery Works is tucked away in Ludhiana Central Nagpada, right on Dr Nair Road. It is not one of those shiny new places you see in magazines. The floors are stained with oil and there is a constant hum of machines running in the back. We have been here for a long time, just doing our thing with the equipment that comes in. Most days, we are covered in a bit of dust and grease, but that is just part of the job. People in the area know us as the place to go when something mechanical needs a look. We don't have a front desk person or a fancy waiting room with coffee. You usually just walk in and find one of us working on a lathe or fixing a part. The air smells like metal and old lubricant, which might be strange to some, but it feels like home to us. Ludhiana is a tough town for business, but we keep our heads down and stay busy on Dr Nair Road. We aren't big on talk or making promises we can't keep. We just take the machinery as it comes and try to get it back in working order. It is a simple life, really. We open the shutters in the morning and close them when the work is done for the day. That is how it has always been here.
