Gurinder Singh Chawla

Gurinder Singh Chawla has been operating at 512 Gill Road in Industrial Area B for a long time. Gill Road is always packed with people and vehicles, so there is never a dull moment outside the window. We are right in the heart of Industrial Area B, which is where most of the action happens in this town. The building itself is an old one, with high ceilings and thick walls that keep it somewhat cool in the summer. I usually start the day by checking the machines and making sure everything is in order. It’s a lot of manual work and staying on top of things as they come in. We have a small crew, and everyone knows what they need to do without being told too much. The floor is usually covered in some kind of work material, and the air smells like oil and metal. It’s a real working shop, not a place for sitting in a suit. People come to us because they know we are here on Gill Road and we’ve been here through the good times and the bad. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people knowing where number 512 is. If you're driving down through Industrial Area B, just look for the row of shops near the intersection. We’re usually there from early morning until the sun goes down, just handling the orders and making sure the work is done properly.
