Golden Heavy Engineering Company

Golden Heavy Engineering Company is based out of Village Majri Kishne Wali, right on the Khanna Road in Amloh. Being out here in the Punjab countryside means we have a lot of space, which is good because we deal with some pretty big pieces of equipment. The road to Khanna is always busy with tractors and trucks, and the dust from the fields often blows into our yard. We have a large workshop where we handle heavy metal parts and do a lot of the big engineering jobs. It is a noisy place, with hammers hitting steel and the sound of heavy engines. The guys who work here are mostly from the nearby villages, and we have been working together for years. We do not have a polished office; our desks are usually covered in dust and old invoices. We are more concerned with getting the machines fixed or the parts built than we are with how the place looks. In the summer, it gets incredibly hot under the tin roof, but we just keep the fans going and get on with the job. People come from all over the Amloh area because they know we have the tools to handle the heavy stuff. It is a rugged way to make a living, but it is what we know. We just take it one job at a time.
