Gills Fashion House

At Gills Fashion House, we work out of a space at 122 Swamipuram in Bharat Nagar. It’s a residential-style area, so it feels a bit more like a home than a corporate office. We like the quiet streets around here. The building itself is nothing special to look at, just a sturdy place where we keep all our supplies and sewing machines. We’ve spent a lot of late nights here trying to finish up projects. Sometimes the neighbors come by to see what we are working on, and we don't mind the company. We are a small group and everyone does a bit of everything, from sweeping the floor to handling the accounting. Bharat Nagar is a nice place to be based. It’s not as crazy as the city center, but it’s still easy enough for people to find us. We don't have a big mission statement or any of that stuff. We just wanted to have our own place where we could work on clothes without someone breathing down our necks. The interior is mostly just racks of garments and some old tables we’ve used for years. We’ve had to fix the plumbing a few times, but that’s just part of owning a place. We take pride in just getting through the day’s tasks. It is a simple, honest business and we are happy to be part of the Swamipuram neighborhood. We just do our thing and hope people like the results.
