Get Ahead Coaching Centre is tucked away at Scf-5 in Rishi Nagar, right behind the Kali Mata Mandir in Ludhiana. Most people find us by looking for the temple first. We’ve been in this building for quite some years. It’s a practical setup. We have the ground floor and some space in the back. It’s not a modern glass building; it’s just a solid brick place that stays cool in the summer. We have old-fashioned wooden benches and a lot of chalk dust around the place. We teach different age groups, so the atmosphere changes depending on who is in the room. In the mornings it’s quiet, but by four o’clock, it gets very loud with students arriving. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who handle the teaching and the cleaning. We do our own scheduling on a paper calendar behind the desk. Sometimes we run out of markers or the bell doesn't ring on time, but the students don't mind much. They come here because it’s close to home and they know we will sit with them until they get the math problems right. It’s a very local Ludhiana kind of place. We don't have a website or anything fancy, just our name on the board outside and our doors open for whoever needs help with their studies.
