Ganesh Marbles

Ganesh Marbles is located at Gate No.2 in the 39-Wholesale Marble Market. We are right opposite the Sterling Resort on Pakhowal Road. Being in a wholesale market means things are always moving. There are trucks coming in early in the morning and others leaving late at night. It is a noisy place with the sound of stone being cut or moved around. We have our spot here and we just try to keep up with the demand. The resort across the street is a lot quieter than our side of the road, that is for sure. We deal with marble day in and day out. Some days we are just cleaning up the yard and other days we are helping people pick out enough stone for a whole house. It is physical work and can be quite tiring when the sun is beating down on the market. We don't have a lot of time for sitting around. Most people who come here already know what they are looking for because it's a wholesale area. We just show them the batches we have available. It’s an honest way to make a living and we have been at this location for a while. Pakhowal Road is a major route, so we get plenty of people stopping by to see what's new in the yard and what slabs we've just unloaded.
