Gagan Engineers

Gagan Engineers is located on Guru Nanak St. No. 7, which is just off Gill Road in the Shimlapuri area. It is a busy part of town and we have been here for quite some time now. Our workshop is not the quietest place because there is usually a machine running or someone hammering something into shape. We mostly spend our days covered in a bit of grease and metal dust. It is just the way work goes here. There is usually a pot of tea going in the corner and we take breaks when we can. The street is a bit narrow, so if you are coming with a big vehicle, it can be a bit of a squeeze. We do not have a fancy office with air conditioning or big leather chairs. It is just a practical space where we handle engineering tasks and repairs. Most of the guys working here have been around for years, so we all know how the machines like to behave. We do not use much technology for our day-to-day stuff, preferring to do things by hand or with the older tools that still work fine. Sometimes the power cuts out and we just sit on the bench outside until it comes back on. It is a simple, honest way to make a living and we are okay with that. We just focus on the job in front of us.
