You can find us over on Miller Ganj Overlock Road, which is a place that never really stays quiet. This is where we do our engineering work, and it is definitely not a clean or quiet environment. Most days, our hands are covered in grease and the floor has a bit of metal shavings on it from whatever we are working on at the moment. We deal with machines and parts, trying to get things back in working order for the people who rely on them. The workshop is old and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it serves its purpose well enough. We have a lot of tools scattered around, and we know exactly where each one is, even if it looks like a mess to someone walking in for the first time. The noise from the road blends in with the sound of our machines, making it hard to hear sometimes. We take on all sorts of jobs, some big and some small, depending on what the local shops or factories need. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, especially when a machine breaks down and needs to be fixed right away. We don't have a front desk or anyone to answer phones, we just work until the job is done. It’s just how things go here on Overlock Road. We’ve been here for years and we know the rhythms of the street well.
