Forging Machinery Manufacturing Company

We are down in Industrial Area A 1. Forging Machinery Manufacturing Company is the name on the gate. It's a loud place. Hammers, heat, heavy metal. We make the machines that other people use to shape parts. It's not a clean job. There’s grease and smoke. But the machines we build are solid. They have to be. We’ve been in this spot for years. The roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but we work around it. My father started things, and now we just keep the floor moving. We aren't big on talk. We just focus on the iron. Most of the guys here have been with us a long time. They know how the old lathes sound. We don't use fancy computers for everything. Sometimes a good eye and a heavy wrench are better. Industrial Area A 1 is busy. Trucks coming in and out all day. Our shop isn't much to look at from the outside. Just bricks and a big sliding door. Inside, it's all business. We make parts, we fix things. If a machine breaks, we figure it out. It's hard work. My hands are always stained. But it’s what we do. People know where to find us if they need forging gear. We don't advertise. Word of mouth is enough for a place like ours. We just keep the power on and the metal moving. It gets hot in the summer but we keep the fans going. It’s a living for us and the crew.
