Firstworld

Our place is in the semi-basement at 22, Sukhmani Tower. We are right at the Kochar Market Chowk. Being in a semi-basement means we don't get a ton of natural light, but it stays a bit cooler than the shops upstairs. The market is always crowded so there is a constant hum of engines and voices outside. We have been here for a bit now and most of the other shopkeepers know us. The stairs down to the shop are a bit steep so you have to watch your step. Inside, we have things organized in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit messy to everyone else. We spend our time managing whatever comes through the door. It is a mix of different tasks every day. Sometimes it is quiet and we just sit and catch up on maintenance. Other times, three people walk in at once and it gets a bit frantic. We don't have any big corporate rules here. We just show up, do the work, and go home when it’s finished. The Kochar Market area has a lot of energy and we like being part of it. Most of our customers are people who are already in the market for other things and just happen to see our board while walking past the tower.
