Dhillon Engg.

We have been running Dhillon Engg. for quite some time now over in Industrial Area C. It is a busy spot, especially being so close to Dhandari Kalan and the main bus stand area near Gill Road. Most days, we are just busy with the machines and getting through the pile of orders that come in from the local shops around here. It gets noisy with all the traffic and the work, but that is how it goes. Some of us have been working here since we were young, and we know the layout of this place like the back of our hands. We don't really do much fancy stuff, just the usual engineering work that people need. Sometimes the tea guy comes by late, and that is the highlight of the afternoon when we take a quick break near the gate. The location is good because everyone knows where the bus stand is, so they don't get lost trying to find our workshop. We try to keep things organized, but in a machine shop, there is always some dust and scraps on the floor. It is just the way it is. We keep our tools ready and show up early every morning before the sun gets too hot. Dealing with the heat in the summer is probably the hardest part, but we have a couple of fans going. People stop by to ask for small fixes, and we usually just help them out right then and there if we can.
