Dental College Sarabha

The college is right here in Sarabha village, which is part of the Ludhiana district. It's not like being in the middle of a big city, but we are close enough to Ludhiana that people find their way here easily. Every morning, you see students walking in through the gates, carrying their bags and looking a bit tired if they stayed up late studying. We have the dental clinics where people from the nearby villages come to get their teeth checked or fixed. It gets pretty busy around noon. The sun hits the main building in a certain way in the afternoons. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out or turn on the generators. In Punjab, the weather changes quite a lot, so in the winter we are all bundled up in sweaters and jackets. In summer, it gets really hot, so the fans are always spinning fast. The staff room is usually where most of the talk happens over a cup of tea. We have a lot of books in the library, and students spend a lot of time there trying to finish their work before exams start. It’s just a regular place where people come to learn how to be dentists. You can hear the sounds of drills and people talking in the hallways throughout the day. It’s a bit dusty outside because of the roads, but inside we try to keep things as clean as possible for the patients.
