In New Subhash Nagar, Ludhiana, things are always moving fast and it’s usually pretty loud with all the industry nearby. Our place is at House No-11423 on Street No-8, which can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't looking closely at the numbers. At Deepak Fasteners Ltd, we spend our days surrounded by metal and the smell of machines. It’s a tough environment but it’s what we know best. The building itself is sturdy and has seen a lot of years go by. Inside, there are stacks of boxes and workers moving things around to get them ready for shipping out. We don’t have any fancy receptionists or glass walls. It’s mostly just us in our work clothes, making sure the orders are right and the quality is what it needs to be. Ludhiana gets incredibly hot in the summer, so the workspace can get a bit stuffy, but we just keep the doors open to catch whatever breeze comes down the street. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time and know most of the people running the shops nearby. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a big batch, and the street gets quiet except for the occasional scooter passing by. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We just focus on getting the fasteners packed and sent where they need to go without making a big fuss about it.
