Chhabra Trading Corp

Chhabra Trading Corp is tucked away in Brahampuri, Ludhiana, specifically at Rari Mohalla B-9/359. This is one of those old parts of the city where the lanes are thin and everybody knows their neighbor. Our place is basically a hub for trading different items, and we have been here for years. The building is an old style, with small rooms packed with goods. We don’t have a big sign outside, just the address that people follow. It’s a lot of manual work, moving things in and out of the Mohalla. We use a lot of hand-drawn carts because the trucks can’t always get right to the door. Inside, the light isn't always the best, but we have our desk set up near the window so we can see the paperwork. We drink a lot of chai and talk to the other traders who pass by. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't bother with fancy technology much, just the basics to keep the accounts straight. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the streets a bit messy, but we just put the boards up and keep the stock dry. It’s a simple life running a trading business here. We know our customers by name, and they know where to find us when they need something. There is always a bit of chatter in the Mohalla that keeps things interesting throughout the day.
