We are set up at 4236/1A on Gill Road, right across from the I.T.I. It’s a well-known landmark, so it makes it easy to tell people where we are. Boss Engineers is basically a workshop where we handle a variety of engineering jobs. The road outside is always busy with traffic, and there’s a lot of activity because of the institute nearby. Our shop is full of heavy equipment and tools. It’s greasy and loud, but that’s what happens when you’re fixing things. We don't have a fancy office area; there’s just a small desk in the corner where we keep the books and take calls. Most of the day is spent out on the floor. We wear old clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. There’s a lot of metal scraps around, and we try to keep things as tidy as we can, but it’s a constant battle. We’ve been here for a long time, and we know many of the other business owners on Gill Road. It’s a tight-knit community in a way. If a machine breaks down, people bring it to us, and we see what we can do. No big promises or fancy talk, just honest mechanical work. Sometimes the rain makes the road a mess, but we still show up and get to it. The tea guy from across the street knows exactly how many sugars everyone takes. We take our breaks when we can, usually sitting on some old tires or workbenches.
