B K Engineering Works

You can find B K Engineering Works over in Gurpal Nagar, at the address 29/149/9. It’s a bit of a maze back here, but we’ve been in this spot for quite some time. We do a lot of engineering jobs, mostly repair work or making custom pieces for local machines. The workshop is full of heavy equipment that’s seen a lot of use over the years. We don’t have any fancy computer systems; we rely on our eyes and our hands to get the measurements right. It’s a bit dusty, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but that doesn’t affect the work we do. We start early in the morning when it’s still cool outside. Usually, the first thing we do is oil the machines and check what needs to be finished from the day before. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the tools. The address 29/149/9 is where we spend most of our waking hours. Sometimes a neighbor drops by to chat while we’re working. We don't have a "mission statement" or any of that corporate stuff. We just take the jobs as they come and try to finish them so the customer can get back to their own business. It’s practical work for practical people. We keep a ledger of everything we do and try to keep the scrap pile from getting too big. It's just us and the machines, doing what we know.
