Ashok Auto Electrical Works

If you drive down G T Road you will see plenty of workshops but mine has been here for a while now. Ashok Auto Electrical Works is where I spend my time covered in grease and looking at the wiring under truck hoods. It is a messy job but someone has to do it especially with the amount of traffic that passes through this area. The sound of horns is just the background music to my day. I have a few helpers who are usually crawling under vehicles while I figure out why the lights are not turning on. Our spot on G T Road is convenient for the drivers who are traveling long distances and need a quick fix before they keep going. I have an old wooden desk where I keep my ledgers but most of the time I am standing outside on the pavement. The sun can be brutal but you get used to it when you are working on engines all day. We have stacks of old batteries and starters piled up in the corner that I need to clear out one of these days. It is a simple life and I like the feeling of fixing something with my hands and seeing the truck drive off. I usually go home with black marks on my shirt and tired legs but that is just part of the deal.
