Trishna The Band

You can find us over at House No.2/393 in Sector L, right on the main Kanpur Road. We are pretty close to the Bangla Bazar petrol pump, which makes it easy for people to spot us. We are basically a group of musicians and performers who go by the name Trishna The Band. It’s not a corporate setup or anything like that. We just have our instruments and our practice space here in Ashiana Colony. Most of our days are spent rehearsing or talking to people about their upcoming functions. Whether it is a small family gathering or something slightly bigger, we bring our gear and play. We’ve been in this part of Lucknow for a while and we know the local tastes pretty well. Sometimes the traffic on Kanpur Road makes things a bit slow, but we always manage to get to the venue on time. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just play music and try to keep the energy up. Our office is a simple place where we keep the drums, speakers, and cables. It’s often a bit messy with all the equipment lying around, but we know where everything is. People stop by to discuss songs or just to check our availability. We like the direct way of doing things, with no complicated contracts or big promises, just showing up and doing our job. It’s a way for us to make a living doing what we enjoy.
