Our office is right in the Model House Area, which is part of the main Lucknow H O district. It is a very old and crowded part of the city, which means there is always something interesting happening right outside the door at number 106. The streets are narrow and usually packed with people and rickshaws. Our space is on the smaller side, but we have managed to fit everything we need into it. There are cupboards full of old event folders and a big table where we spread out our plans. It is a noisy location, but it puts us right in the middle of all the action. We often have to step out into the street to take phone calls because it gets so loud inside when the fans are going. We have been here for several years now and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. We spend our days coordinating with different suppliers and making sure we have enough staff for the next weekend. It is a lot of back-and-forth communication. We do not have any fancy mission statements or polished brochures. Most people just know us as the guys in Model House who handle local functions. It is a simple, honest way to work, and we like being part of the bustle of central Lucknow.
