Our office is located at House No. 69 in Gulzar Colony, which is right near the Chinhat Crossing in Lucknow. It isn't a typical office building; it is more like a house that we converted so we could have a place to work. This gives Softveg India Private Limited a very different feel than most tech companies. It is quiet for the most part, though you can always hear the traffic from the crossing if the windows are open. We have a small garden in the front that we try to keep tidy, though the Lucknow heat makes it tough sometimes. Inside, we have set up our workstations in what used to be living rooms and bedrooms. It makes the whole place feel a bit more homey. We aren't a big team, so we all know each other’s business and help out whenever someone gets stuck. We focus on tech work, mostly for local needs, and we don't try to pretend to be something we aren't. There are no suits or ties here. We usually have tea together in the afternoon and talk about things other than work. It is a humble setup, but it works for us. Gulzar Colony is a nice place to be, and being near the crossing makes it easy for people to find us. We just show up, do the work, and enjoy the relative peace of our little house office.
