We operate out of 20 A, Bengali Club on Shivaji Marg in Hussainganj. Lucknow is a city that takes its celebrations seriously and being right here in the middle of it keeps us on our toes. The Bengali Club is a well-known spot so finding us isn't too hard for people. The building has that old Lucknow feel to it. Our space is filled with samples of fabrics and stacks of folders for the different hospitality jobs we take on. It’s not a polished showroom. It’s more of a workshop where we scramble to get things ready for the next big date. Shivaji Marg can get quite congested but that’s just part of living in Hussainganj. We spend a lot of time talking to vendors and making sure the decorations are exactly what was asked for. Sometimes we are up late finishing the last few details. It’s a lot of physical labor. Lugging furniture and setting up tents isn't easy work but we've been doing it long enough that we have a system. The tea stalls nearby keep us going during the long shifts. We don't have a big corporate team. It’s just a handful of us who know how to handle the pressure when things get busy. We try to keep it simple and just do what we promised without making a big fuss about it.
