We operate Progmatix Software Services Private Limited from LDA Colony in Lucknow. Our address is MD-1/446. It’s a residential-style area, so it’s much quieter than being in the middle of a commercial district. We like it that way because it feels more relaxed. We aren’t a giant corporation with thousands of employees. It’s just a dedicated team working from a converted space. We spend most of our time developing software and checking for bugs. The office is filled with the sound of typing and occasionally someone playing some music in the background. We don't have a strict dress code. Most days we just wear whatever is comfortable. Lucknow is a great city to live in, and being in LDA Colony means we’re close to home for many of us. We started this because we enjoy the technical side of things. We aren't really into the whole "corporate culture" thing with long meetings that don't go anywhere. We prefer to just talk across the room and solve problems as they pop up. Sometimes we stay late when we’re stuck on a tricky problem, but we usually try to get home for dinner. There are plenty of tea stalls nearby where we go when we need a break from the screens. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep our clients happy with the work we produce. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people.
