Prabhat Orchestra Group

We are based out of the Spencer Shopping Complex on State Road in Jankipurum. Prabhat Orchestra Group has been around for a while, mostly focusing on music and live performances. If you come by the complex, you might hear us practicing or testing out the sound system. It’s not a quiet job. We have a lot of instruments and heavy speakers that we have to move around constantly. Our office is a bit crowded with drum sets and keyboards. We don't really have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, one of the musicians just picks up the phone. We’ve played at a lot of weddings and local functions around Lucknow. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to figure out how to keep the music going. It’s all about being prepared for the unexpected. We aren't fancy people, we just like music and making sure the sound is clear. Dealing with an orchestra means managing a lot of different personalities, but we make it work. Jankipurum is a good spot for us, and being in the shopping complex makes it easy for people to find us. We spend many late nights at venues and then come back to unload everything in the early morning. It’s tiring but it’s our life. We just try to keep the rhythm going and make sure the instruments are tuned. It is a noisy, busy, and honest way to make a living.
